In the 17th and 18th century, craftsmen applied the decorations using their fingers and frozen potatoes. Today, the Polish pottery is still hand thrown, but the stamps are made of foam or rubber.
Be come the expert: The original Boleslawiec art pottery and ceramics, with its famous eye spot decoration and the letter “B” printed on the bottom of each piece, has been produced in Poland since 1830. Since
then, other patterns have developed and special patterns, like those specific to the holidays, are introduced from time to time.
The patterns are designed to complement each other. Although, the designs vary from the traditional
eyespots to stars or to elaborate flowers, the basic colors remain the same. This allows collectors of the pottery to mix and match patterns.
Who is who: There are several factories that we purchase Polish Pottery from. Some of them, Art Pottery, Wiza, Rutyna, Manufaktura, Zaklady, Ceramica Artastazcna.
Art Pottery is a modern factory which produce ceramic dishes using the latest technology and traditional patterns. Products which are made by Art Pottery are usually in light blue flower and fruit patterns. Thanks

Dana Pottery is the only factory in Bolesalwiec that continues to make Polish Pottery by the Original Traditional Methods. No machines are used. The Pottery is completely made by hand. All items are hand painted or hand stamped. Since these items are entirely made by hand they may have slight imperfections. This is the original way that the Polish Pottery was hand-crafted in the 19th Century by German Artisans,
now these techniques are still used by the Polish Artisans at that DANA workshop. This makes each item
a unique piece a true UNIKAT. As the order you place is made specially for you we need extra days to produce it. Manufactura Stoneware Factory „Manufaktura” in Bolesławiec is one of the leading
